Ingredients: puer tea

Steeping Instructions

Steep 4 grams | 10-12 oz water | 195°F | 4 min.

Traditional Steeping 

Use 4 grams of tea in a 150ml gaiwan or teapot. Use boiling water and steep as follows:

  • 10 seconds rinse (discard this steep)
  • 1st steep – 15 seconds
  • 2nd steep – 10 seconds
  • 3rd steep – 20 seconds
  • 4th steep – 40 seconds
  • 5th steep – 90 seconds
  • 6th steep – 3 minutes
