Ceylon Planter's Bungalow | Black Tea

This lot of tea is almost gone. We're hoping to source a new lot in the future, but there is no guarantee.

This medium-bodied tea has a mouthfeel you could bite into. It has the high aroma of fresh grasses and tangy clementine rind in the cup. The aftertaste hangs on and on. A refuge at the end of a hard day’s work.

This peak season FBOP leaf grade tea was produced February 10-18, 2025 by Mr. M. Dissanayake at the Somerset Estate in the Dimbula region of Sri Lanka.  It’s a two leaf and a bud pick of cultivated plants growing at 4,500 feet!

Ingredients: black tea

Steeping Instructions

3 grams | 10-12 oz water | 212°F | Steep 3 min.

Number of Cups

2 oz makes 19 cups, 4 oz makes 38 cups
