The elixir to save human souls. Apricot in the aroma and effervescent grains in the cup. Possesses a subtle intensity that threatens to turn bitter if taunted.

Produced in the spring of 2020 by Mr. Zhao Tian. It comes from Ba Ma Village on Nan Nuo Shan, a mountain located in Menghai, Yunnan. The tea material comes from a raw, natural environment with wild tea trees over 200 years old and growing at 5,000 feet. The tea material here is in high demand.

Ba Ma village belongs to the Hani people, who abide by the planet’s natural order and believe in the co-existence between humans and ghosts. They have a hands-off, protective view of the forest and its wildlife. According to tradition, if someone get’s sick, they ask the local doctor (wizard) to ask their ancestors “why?”. If the illness is punishment for rules broken, the invite the priest to chant and ask forgiveness. The doctor then prepares tea from local leaves as the soup to heal wounds of the flesh and the spirit.
